We work with our clients as partners to design and implement flexible, robust and reliable Learning Management Systems (LMSs) and other educational technology applications such as xAPI, LXPs, TXPs, LCMSs, virtual classrooms, social learning and ePortfolio systems. We also work on our own internal management systems and automation scripting frameworks.

The role
The role is as a Business Development Manager for Androgogic in the APAC region.
This is a permanent full time (38hrs/week), hybrid location role (primarily work from home but includes travel as required for client and prospect meetings, sales conferences, and internal team events) with the Androgogic Business Development, pre-sales and marketing team.
As a Business Development Manager at Androgogic, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s strategic growth initiatives, in particular across Government and Healthcare markets. You will identify, cultivate, and close new business opportunities to help the Business Development team to predict, track and achieve agreed sales targets throughout Australia, Singapore, New Zealand and other APAC territories. You will manage pipeline data and contribute to strategic alliances and wider go-to-market plans including maintenance of ongoing group and customer relationships.
The position specifically involves:
New Business Acquisition
- Identify and qualify high-potential prospects in target markets and sectors (especially Government and Health.)
- Manage the full sales lifecycle - from prospecting, and proposal development to contract negotiation and deal closure
- Deliver compelling product presentations and tailored solution pitches to senior stakeholders
- Support the APBD in trade shows where required
- Work effectively within Androgogic’s tender team and contribute to the delivery of high quality, compelling tender submissions
- Acquire and manage accurate and realistic forecasting of deals and sales data for Androgogic management and other stakeholders
Strategic Market Expansion
- Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning to inform regional growth strategies.
- Identify potential verticals, geographic markets, or segments for expansion.
- Collaborate and contribute to marketing and product teams to align campaigns and messaging with market opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with the Learning Systems team to relay customer feedback and inform roadmap priorities.
- Partner with the Client-Partner Engagement and PMO teams to ensure smooth handovers and long-term client satisfaction.
Androgogic IMS (Integrated Management System)
- To undertake ongoing training in and awareness of, and comply with the policies and procedures of the Androgogic IMS (ISO9001 and ISO27001).
About you
- You have demonstrated success in closing complex deals with enterprise‑level organisations.
- The ability to demonstrate software products is a strong advantage.
- You have exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- You have strong written English communication skills.
- You demonstrate strong discipline working independently from home in a remote‑friendly, global team environment.
- You are comfortable working as part of a tight‑knit but fully remotely distributed team over technologies such as Slack, Zoom, Teams, Google Apps, MS365 and other remote tools.
- You are able to work after hours from time to time (TOIL is available)
Your experience
- You have business development or enterprise sales experience, preferably in B2B SaaS, edtech, HRtech, or learning systems.
- Familiarity with Edutech‑related systems such as LMS, LXP, LRS, LCMS and/or HRIS solutions is a strong advantage.
- You have experience managing long‑term prospect relationships.
- Experience doing so in the Government and/or Health sectors is a strong advantage.
- You have experience working with or managing partner channels such as resellers, system integrators, etc.
It would also be great, but not mandatory, if:
- You have a background in learning and development, HR solutions, or talent management.
- You are proficient with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and other sales enablement tools.
- You have a strong understanding of solution selling and consultative sales methodologies.
Some things to note

- This position has frequent requirements to travel to represent Androgogic or attend company events. In such cases all expenses are paid or reimbursed.
