Medcast wins Best Pandemic Response at LearnX 2021

Medcast, a valued Androgogic client-partner, won Best Pandemic Response at LearnX Live 2021 in November last year.

The LearnX Live awards recognise excellence in Learning and Development. The trusted awards show has run annually since 2008. In 2020, Androgogic and partners won seven LearnX Live awards recognising work from client-partners such as First Nations Foundation, Austin Health, Endeavour Foundation, and Griffith University.

This year, Androgogic won 18 awards alongside our client-partners, including Medcast.

In March 2020, Medcast was required to deliver training to Registered Nurses in a very short space of time to ensure the readiness of the Australian health system to respond to the novel coronavirus. Androgogic was engaged to deploy a learning solution that was flexible, scalable, and could deliver online learning to equip nurses to work in ICUs.

To respond to this need, Androgogic developed an LMS training solution that was accessible, flexible, scalable, efficient, and was rapidly deployed in less than a month. The fully online training could be accessed from any location at any time. The courses were built within Totara Learn, which enabled flexible delivery of online courseware including recorded lectures, quizzes, workbooks, resources, videos & forums.

The training was deployed on the 1st April 2020. In 15 days, Medcast reached its target of 20,000 enrolments. More than 95% of survey respondents indicated that the knowledge gained in the training improved the quality of care they delivered to patients, sometimes, often or always.
