NSW Police Force wins best Best LMS and more at LearnX 2021
The New South Wales Police Force, a valued Androgogic client-partner, won Best LMS, Best Mobile App Learning Design and Best Compliance Training Project at LearnX Live 2021 in November last year.
The LearnX Live awards are a trusted awards program that recognises excellence in Learning and Development. In 2020, Androgogic and partners won seven LearnX Live awards recognising work from organisations such as First Nations Foundation, Austin Health, Endeavour Foundation, and Griffith University.
This year, Androgogic won 18 awards alongside our client-partners, including NSW Police.
The NSW Police Force is a large dynamic organisation comprising over 20,000 sworn and unsworn officers across NSW.
NSW Police were seeking an LMS implementation that allowed them to meet their strategic goals. Their training solution needed to be able to deliver content anytime, anywhere and on any device, engage learners, and have a modern interface.
To achieve this, Androgogic built the Police Education Training Environment (PETE) using the Totara Learn LMS and Totara Engage LXP. PETE is available on all devices including mobile through the mLearn app which is integrated with Totara.
Androgogic’s modern course templates created a consistent look and feel throughout the LMS, and made it easy for course administrators to design and develop course content. Androgogic’s Learning Design and Development Team also redeveloped 45 compliance modules so that they were compatible with modern browsers and were consistent with PETE’s new look.
PETE learners had enthusiastic feedback on the new training on the new LMS:
“Thank you - it doesn't get any better than this!”
“Super cool and very modern presentation.”
Since PETE went live, over 22,000 NSW Police staff have been active in the LMS. PETE has supported the development of a learning culture in the NSW Police Force and encouraged continuous development and employee performance.
