Every year in May, Androgogic celebrates International Nurses Day by highlighting some of our incredible client-partners in Healthcare. Our client-partners share a commitment to ongoing training, patient-centred care, and high-quality services. 

Uniting AgeWell

Uniting AgeWell delivers aged care services to both community and residential-based clients across Victoria and Tasmania. Over 3100 staff provide high quality care to aged care residents, seniors in day centres or at home every single day.

An award-winning Health Platform underpins Uniting AgeWell’s learning and development, so that staff and carers receive ongoing, high-quality training. Their learning platform has received a LearnX award for Best Learning Management System, highlighting their commitment to training and development for their nurses and staff.

McGrath Foundation

The McGrath Foundation trains their Breast Care Nurses to deliver high quality and comprehensive care to patients with breast cancer and their families.  

Specialist care is provided to people experiencing breast cancer and their families through the McGrath Model of Care. Each McGrath Breast Care Nurse uses this evidenced-based model and training to support the people they care for. 

There are currently 223 Breast Care Nurses across Australia, who have supported 137,000 families. These nurses are available for patients and their families to access for free and with no referral. 

Androgogic and the McGrath Foundation have partnered together for five years, delivering high quality, award-winning training to Breast Care Nurses across Australia. 

Eastern Health

Eastern Health is one of Melbourne’s largest public hospitals with over 9500 staff at 50 facilities. 

A focus on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander healthcare, mental health, community, maternity, and Allied Health, ties Eastern Health’s services together.

With a strong commitment to learning and teaching, offers a scholarship program for staff wishing to undertake further study in their chosen field. This scholarship ensures that nurses can broaden and deepen their knowledge to ensure the best possible level of care for patients and the community. 

Androgogic is committed to supporting the Eastern Health Staff Development Scholarship, and has funded scholarships for several years.
