The Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre (“Peter Mac”) is a world leading cancer research, education and treatment centre and is Australia’s only public health service solely dedicated to caring for people affected by cancer. 3,300 staff and students, including more than 750 laboratory and clinical researchers, are all focused on providing better treatments and care for patients, and finding cures for cancer. 

From diagnosis and investigation through to treatment and support, Peter Mac supports cancer patients through their journey. As a research institution, Peter Mac also undertakes clinical research to improve outcomes for cancer patients.
