Client-Partner Engagement Educational Technologist Job

We work with our clients as partners to design and implement flexible, robust and reliable Learning Management Systems (LMSs) and other educational technology applications such as xAPI, LXPs, TXPs, LCMSs, virtual classrooms, social learning and ePortfolio systems. We also work on our own internal management systems and automation scripting frameworks.

The role: Client-Partner Engagement Educational Technologist

 The position involves:

  • working collaboratively with the Director of Client-Partner Engagement, client-partners and Androgogic staff, providing high quality service for Androgogic’s operational client-partners and their deployed educational technology applications and services, focusing on the journey after project deployment to operational maturity and service enhancement. 
  • delivering and managing assigned elements of Androgogic’s client-partner touchpoints such as:
    • building rapport and confidence with client-partner stakeholders throughout the post-deployment lifecycle
    • participating in regular client-partner health checks and actioning outcomes
    • engaging in Androgogic user communities and support resources
    • assigned elements of Androgogic’s services to client-partners’ educational technology installations, including support balances, usage reporting, reconciling support by type so that client-partner account balances are up-to-date, invoicing and software licenses for those clients
    • tasks and projects arising from client-partner account management as directed, including analysis and problem solving, preparation of change requests and other documentation
    • scoping and managing small projects such as change requests and system upgrades
    • resolving and/or ensuring the resolution of complex client-partner support requests escalated from the frontline support desk for nominated operational clients, exercising technical expertise in Androgogic educational technologies 
  • working within established Androgogic policies, processes and methodologies
  • contributing to Androgogic's ethics and culture
  • conforming to Androgogic policies and procedures
  • occasional requirements to travel to represent Androgogic or attend company events
  • depending on Androgogic requirements, you may focus on:
    • a portfolio of client-partners, as needed and/or incorporating an established vertical such as Health, Government, Finance, Membership, VET, etc, and/or;
    • development and continuous improvement of Androgogic’s tools to support client-partners in and towards operational maturity

About you

  • You have demonstrated business analysis and project management skills including the ability to understand and troubleshoot operational Educational Technology and related business issues
  • You have demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English using a range of modes (written formal and informal, verbal with and without video) internally and externally across a diverse range of personalities and cultures
  • You are courteous, thoughtful, proactive, flexible, happy and helpful (and happy to be helpful)
  • You are able to work within prescribed systems and processes (including suggesting improvements to them)
  • You have demonstrated strong discipline working from home - self-motivated, proactive and able to prioritise and manage time 
  • You are socially comfortable working as part of a tight knit but fully remotely distributed team over IM, Virtual Classroom, Google Apps, Email and other remote technologies

Your experience

  • You have experience in the Educational Technology space, as an LMS administrator, and/or knowledge of a range of Educational Technologies such as Totara and/or Moodle, LCMSs, virtual classrooms, ePortfolios, SMSs and authoring tools
  • You have relevant account management and/or technical problem-solving experiences
  • You have experience in a range of business and educational contexts

 

It would also be great, but not mandatory, if:

  • You have relevant higher education and/or online learning-related qualifications
  • You have solid experience in Totara and/or Moodle LMS
  • You have education-related experience in any or all of HE, VET, K-12, corporate and government sectors
  • You have other IT-related skills, knowledge and experience

Some things to note

  • Applicants must be Australian citizens/permanent residents or hold full working rights to be considered
  • Successful candidates will need to undergo National Police and Working with Children Checks and may also be required to undertake a Baseline security clearance
  • This position has occasional requirements to travel to represent Androgogic or attend company events with all expenses paid
